If you can't make it to the Kodak Theater for the Academy Awards this year, create your own fabulosity with a glamorous Hollywood bash at home on Oscar night.
To create an old Hollywood ambiance, use sleek decorations infusing a gold, black and white color palette. Take it up a notch with crystal vases holding white or ivy arrangements such as tulips, roses or white Freesia. Tall candle sticks, silver or clear acrylic ice buckets and antique style champagne glasses will be a great addition to your glamorous soiree.
A Decadent meal is a must! Try lobster spring rolls, Salmon kebabs with Quinoa and for dessert go for lemon meringue tarts or cheesecake with a Strawberry drizzle. Just make sure that you keep the champagne flowing.
Speaking of Champagne, store a bottle of Laurent Perrier Brut off to the side. If you decide to include Oscar ballots (guess who's gonna win?) as a game or play a little trivia during commercials this will be a great prize for the winner to take home!
