The Starring Role in Your St. Patty’s Day Party: FOOD

St. Patrick’s Day is here and Irish or otherwise you still have a reason to celebrate! Get your green on with these great food ideas for your St. Patty’s Day bash. Your guests will no doubt be feeling the luck of the Irish.

Take a new spin on traditional Irish classics for your party.

• Use mini baking tins to create personal sized shepherd’s pie.

• Add a little green food coloring to liven up classic crab cakes.

• Serve corned beef and cabbage out of stemless martini glasses.

• Sweet Whiskey and Potato Soufflé (Carrigaline Whiskey Pie)


Keep the green beer on tap and consider the drink idea below for “lightweights.”

Peppermint Patty Martinis
2 parts vodka
1 part crème de menthe
1 crème de cacao
1 part Kahlua
Garnish with an Andes mint.
